Accommodation Facilities
There are 55 accommodation facilities in Chichijima and 17 in Hahajima.
Most od them are "guest house Sstyle" and also there are pensions and a hotel.
A hotel is only in Chichijima.

＊Japanese style room ~washitsu~
Chichijima
A distinguishing feature of washitsu is their tatami flooring and futon for sleeping.
Tatami is Japanese traditional mats made of rice straw from the core, with covering of
woven soft rash straw. tatami are made in uniform sizes.
Futon is also Japanese traditional bedding.
Accommodations which are guesthouse style have such kinds of rooms.
＊Western style room ~youshitsu~
Most of pensions and a hotel has typical western style rooms with bed.
Mainly the western style rooms are twin or triple rooms.
Japanese style room ~Washitsu~
Note!! There are not so many accommodations which have "single room".
So if you stay by only one person, tourist may need to pay "single fee".
Note!! There are private rooms which have bathroom and toilet and also are rooms don't have
them.
■Shared room (Dormitory type)■
Shared room like dormitory is capacity of 6 to 8 tourist, and mainly have bunk bed.
There are no toilet and bathroom, so toursit use communal toilet and bathroom.
About a meal.

There are accommodations with 2 meal ( breakfast & dinner ), selfcooking or
bed only and you can choice.

1.Ohmura area
Ohmura is downtown of Chichijima where the near-
est area to Hutami Port. There are 34 accommo-
datios and also supermarkets, resutaurants, pubs
and suvenior shops.

*2~8minutes by walk. *1~3minutes by car
2.Kiyose / Miyanohama / Okumura area
Kiyose and Okumura are the residential area and
there're also 8 accommodations.
There are not so many shops but on the other hand
you can stay in calm.

*8~20minutes by walk *2~5minutes by car
3.Sakaiura/Ougiura/Kominato/Komagari area
There are 13 accommodations in opposit saide of
Hutami Bay from Ohmura and they are surrounded
by quite forest and beautiful beachs.
